Omar’s “I Got You” Quirkiness And Reassurance All in One

How many songs that will make you feel good in more ways than one do you know? Well, you’re in for a treat, because “I Got You” is both catchy and good-willed at the same time. It has a balanced combination of playfulness and remedying something serious, absolutely getting the job done.

Inspired by Justin Bieber’s “Yummy”, Omar takes that energy and makes it his own, creating a song with the purest of intentions, something that works both ways, something versatile. The structure is followable, not too overwhelming, maintaining its potential to be played at the club, in the car, without getting tired.

Going back to the point of balance, to which every relationship, platonic or romantic, should have, “I Got You” excels in it. When you start playing it, you’d think that it would be something worth sending to your friends, up until it gets to the point of… something more intimate. Not to say that you shouldn’t send it to them anymore, as this song is for everyone.

All in all, it’s a great track with a great vibe, and I don’t see why anyone should skip over this song whatsoever. It took something iconic and made an even more unique sound, and everyone should lend their ears!
