Urgent: Do Not Delay Drops New Track “Reborn”

Alright. I’m in no way an expert on all the technicalities behind every song ever produced. Still, I have a strong stand on what I like and what’s good and not, and “Reborn,” a recently released single dropped by the band Do Not Delay, has surely tickled my interest.

There is no denying that in the current local scene, pop-punk is not mainstream; it is currently in its sleeping state waiting to be disturbed, and from time to time, you’ll get to hear quality productions such as this that will make you realize that “heck, punks ain’t dead yet.” It is there; it is striving; you just have to know where to look and check.

Do Not Delay took their time honing their band into what it is right now. Having more than a decade of experience, which started as a project band in Manila in 2009, members AK Ampuan on rhythms and vocals, Denz Rosari, the frontman and storyteller, Johnson Vibares on drums, and Waltz Dimaano on lead guitar and backup vocals, with the recent recruit of their good friend Kyle Cal from I Fall, I Rise, have this solid foundation of what the band is all about and the character of their sound that was developed through time. For this project, the band did a clever play on collaborating with Francis Alden of TNG, which added colors and character to this track.

Reborn” is a great song in my vocabulary. It is the perfect dose of rock that I want in a piece. It is catchy and most definitely melodic, with lyrics that punch into the power that connection holds in every situation. I’d like to highlight the clever and meticulous instrumentation of hard-pounding drums and intense guitar riffs, which brought a polished finish to the production of this track, creating this perfect balance of great sound without sacrificing the power that the song holds.

Beyond those hard-punching melodies and sound drives, Reborn is an inspiring track that shines a light on the power of love, connection, and resilience in a relationship—how it can heal, create a solid foundation, and even restore faith, transforming someone into a whole new person.

Verdict? This track has been added to my “sure-fire” playlist on Spotify. This song simply just screams potential, and it deserves all your attention, so be sure to check it out.
