Is Pipedream Zero the new Punk Rock anthem of today?

Have you ever given a thought of what if, punk rock came back? Like pure, unfiltered, in-your-face punk rock? Well, worry no more. Niels Rahder’s latest track, Pipedream Zero is the answer! This track is a testament that punk rock lives on!

In the first few seconds of the track, you can already hear Niels Rahder’s punk rock influence swooping in. The frequent use of the word “OI” goes back to the good old days of 80s punk rock originating from bands such as The Clash and Rancid just to name a few which is cool because we don’t often hear that style of music anymore.

The main theme of the song talks about creating a path for the ultimate goal in anyone’s life. The track is covered with tropes from start to finish giving us the freedom to interpret the lyrics in any way shape or form. Very punk rock indeed.

The double-time drum pattern accompanied by that crunchy guitar tone and that over-the-top feel of the song is the main reason why it’s so punk rock. In simple terms, it’s chaotic and fun.

Overall, I appreciate the bravery of the team behind this track. In an ever-evolving world of simplicity and clarity, Pipedream Zero was created to tell the masses that it’s okay to think and of course, Punk rock is and will always be here to stay.
