Guess who’s back to offer yet another fire album! Rock n Roll Powerhouse GarcYuh is back again, now bolder and definitely better, with his latest album, “Red 2 Blue.” Released on the 31st of May this year, this 11-track project is a majestic rock offering for all the heavy rock enthusiasts on the planet; it overflows with power, skillful musicality, and fiery passion that would definitely wake up your senses.
Warning: This album will make your heart thump but in all of the best ways. The thunderous drums and good guitar riffs will invade your ears, electrifying your senses to listen for more. “2B Destroyed” rightfully opens this helluva music ride. GarcYuh did go in full-throttle mode for this album, as this track features an electrifying sound coursing through the riffs and beats done rigorously throughout the song. This track also features clear vocals by GarcYuh, and it’s honestly just packed with intensified emotions. This sets the stage for what to respect in the latter parts of the album, as the same potency of power courses throughout the album, specifically on the tracks “Chance 2B Someone” and “Day Rise.”.
Not only does this collection offer songs, but it also features some tracks that are just instrumentals featuring the skills of the artist. The track entitled “Disdain” leads that bunch. This features the signature guitar riffs and hard-hitting drums of GarcYuh. This honestly just sounds so intense and definitely showcases the amazing skills of the artists on their instruments. This track is proof that this artist is the real deal and did not come here to just play games. It would’ve been great if lyrics were written for it too, but regardless, it sounded just amazing. “Day Rise” and “This is Being Underneath” are tracks that could pass as soundtracks for good movies or series that have noir or dark themes. These tracks will make your skin prickle, but in a good way. GarcYuh has done a great job of blending all his sounds. Imagine hearing this on a series like Dark or Stranger Things; that’s definitely going to be lit.
Following that is the track “Hello Moon.” This honestly offers a different vibe from other tracks. This song starts slowly with just the quiet sound of guitars, some beats, and some good snares. Eventually, it spikes up into a full-blown rock and roll in the middle of the track. This is my personal favorite; this buildup is crazy, and I can’t get over it. Another favorite is the track “This Being Underneath.” I love this because of its drum beats. It’s very skillfully done, and its opening chords remind me of the music of the band Paramore. It’s familiar, yet this track has a fresh sound to it. “Origins,” “Let Me Out,” “Limerence,” and “Lost in the Cosmos” were also featured in this album, so don’t forget to check it out!
The most striking feature of this album is the seamless fusion of vocal tracks and instrumental tracks in the project. Music expresses its message in so many ways, and GarcYuh offered it in two ways: through his powerful lyrics and singing, and purely through the sound of his instruments, allowing his music to speak for itself. These instrumentals are not just fillers; this is solid proof of the skills and passion of this artist to create music.
