“Beautiful” An EP Teaser to Panda City’s Upcoming Album Release

It is only the early days of May, yet we are being flooded with new music from different artists! Now is the time to immerse ourselves in Panda City’s relaxing tunes with their newest EP, Beautiful!

Panda City is a New York City-based Hip-Hop/Pop duo. Composed of Clacc on vocals and Mazz on drums, the chemistry of these two birthed a wide range of songs in different music genres. According to their Spotify profile information, the band name is meant to reflect the make-up of the two, a guy from South Bronx, and a NOLA-born punk drummer. The duo blended effortlessly, although unintentionally, with each other, which brought something new to the menu of music out there.

This EP serves as an appetizer for their upcoming album. The songs included in this EP are a part of something bigger, which will be released soon. You might also consider this as a teaser, or a sampler from their soon-to-be-released album.

The first track is entitled Beautiful. A song that tells how a person can fight for the love of their life if they really want to. This song is the embodiment of “If he wanted to, he would.” ― a phrase that is getting popular nowadays. With its lyricism trope, many people, especially couples, would love to listen to this song. Its beat is catchy, its lyrics were composed smoothly, and it deserves to be heard by people across the globe.

The second track though, entitled Galaga, took the softer hip-hop approach. Although it took the softer side in terms of beat and melody, the heavy blow was hidden in the song’s lyrics. It talked about the hardships in life and how badly the persona in the song wanted to escape it. From their life’s aspect of love, money, and family, it became all messed up, and all they wanted to do was to find a relief that would save them from agony. This song is perfect for those who didn’t know what to do with their lives, those who feel like their lives were stuck in the rock-bottom. It is a reminder that we can choose to escape from these problems through our own ways, and then work hard to get out of that situation pronto.
