Gianfranco GFN Takes You Back with “Me After You”

Once you hit play, you instantly get brought back to nostalgia city. There’s something about its beat and overall sound that screams late nineties to early 2000s, but it still appeals up to this day.

The structure and lyrics are simple yet memorable as it is quite literally about love, a theme that will never cease to be tackled. I love the chorus that’s like a hook and the delivery is bound to get stuck in listeners’ heads (I’m singing the chorus as I’m writing this review, which proves my point).

Gianfranco GFN’s vocals are unique, the grittiness omits a familiarness similar to rock icons. Said to be influenced by jazz, blues, funk, and of course rock, it truly shows how well integrated every aspect of this song is. All the elements come together to create a good balance of volume, the guitar compliments the percussion and vocals, not too overbearing and heavy.

Overall, Gianfranco GFN’s new single “Me After You” is a fun yet chill track to just vibe to. It’s a beautiful mix of all the sounds by which Gianfranco GFN is influenced. Check out his social profiles and follow him to experience his music more. Trust me, this track is worth the listen.
