Hana Piranha Drops A Fiery Cover For Track “Toxic”

Daring—a word that would best describe Hana Piranha as they release their fiery take on the 2003 iconic hit of Britney Spears’s “Toxic.” This Brighton-based band introduces their music to the world by releasing a potent rendition of this track that is darker, fiercer, and most definitely different from the original pop and dance-y vibe that the song offers. This new version is intense and the punk rock influence of the band fully transformed the track “Toxic” into a gritty and much edgier vibe.

From the outset, one thing is for sure: Hana Piranha did not come to play, as their version stood out for its heavy and moody take on the song. The heavy use of the violin is also a fresh take, which adds to the drama and vibe of the song. The emotional and intense delivery and performance of the song also showcased the ability of the artist to deliver a strong message of obsession and danger that is stated in a much fresher take.

Finally, Hana Piranha’s take on the classic hit “Toxic” is a surefire. The band has successfully managed to give new life to the track by infusing it with new elements that are authentic in style—vocal-wise, it is great as it features extensive vocal prowess from the vocalist, arrangement-wise, it was amazing as it managed to raise its quality while maintaining utmost respect to its original arrangement. More importantly, it was an absolutely enjoyable listen. So, check out Hara Piranah’s “Toxic”, now available for streaming on all your favorite platforms!

CARRIE ABYSS Released New Single ‘mass destruction (of my head)

CARRIE ABYSS’s latest single, “mass destruction (of my head),” is a powerful dive into industrial-inspired alternative metal. Fronted by the intense vocals of CARRIE ABYSS, the track features Jonathan Adeyemi on drums, Tibet Tunaboyu on bass, and Tunç Kuzay on guitar, creating a sound that is both heavy and complex.

The song combines hard-hitting metal with dreamy synths and Björk-inspired angelic vocals, telling the story of a Middle Eastern young woman struggling to find her place in a demanding society. Recorded at City and Goldsmiths Universities, “mass destruction (of my head)” was produced by Bernadette Lara, mixed by Onur Erdem Ünal (aka knee), and mastered by Stephen Kerrison (DITZ, Liz Lawrence). This track feels like the climactic battle in a feminist-revenge video game, full of cathartic rage and maximalist intensity.

The promotional effort includes a short film and multimedia experience, deepening the impact of the song’s themes.
