The assertion of capability and dominance through the lines themselves work hand-in-hand with how it’s all delivered. “How you say you real if you can’t deal with honesty?” is a point made, not settling for less, and being well aware of what she deserves. With the line “I don’t even think that people change”, it shows that the song constantly mentions people who have undermined her in the past, hence resorting to “shrinking the inner circle” and focusing on self-growth instead.
In essence, the song talks about success, being all set financially and all other aspects, leaving no room for people and situations that don’t deserve their attention or time. It’s about being locked in on life goals, and finally being able to flaunt it.
