After a year of her remarkable moments in the music industry, releasing an impactful album, winning her first Grammy (non-Latin) and 4 Billboard Music Awards, and setting off with an earthshaking stadium tour. Karol G has been chosen to be Billboard’s Woman of the Year in 2024.
Carolina Giraldo Navarro, known as Karol G in the music industry, has been recognized over the years as a dominant image in Latin music. Karol became the first female artist to top the Billboard 200 with her album, Mañana Será Bonito, which is a spanish album. “The release of her groundbreaking album Mañana Será Bonito has proven her a force to be reckoned with in both the English and Spanish charts.” said Hannah Karp, Billboard’s editorial director.
Colombian hit maker, Karol G will be awarded as Billboard’s 2024 Woman of the Year this coming March 6, Wednesday, at the Billboard Women in Music Awards, where she will also bring off a special performance at the YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Los Angeles.
