This is the vibe that I’m personally getting from the track Ice Cream by the quiet and reserved Filipino artist Micaia. It is a personal track that is unique sounding—packed with hard-hitting drums and heavy riffs of guitars as he bares his truth and vulnerabilities through his song that aims straight to your soul.
“Ice Cream” is a love song. But it is clear that with Micaia’s style, this is not your usual ballad and acoustic type of song, nor is this yet again another insincere mainstream stuff that you always hear. This piece is a kind of love song that is lit with fire, and packed with action and emotions. No one said love is easy after all; hence, this track perfectly captures all that grit, angst, and longing for “that person.”.
Ultimately, Ice Cream is a great track that showcases the character of Micaia as an artist. That said, this is far from your usual love songs, but it’s easily likable.
