On October 4th, to serve as a trailer for this highly anticipated album release, this Franco-Irish musician formed in 2014 released their single “I can’t wait anymore,” a proper showcase of the band’s musicality—a fusion of rock, folk, and pop that you would definitely enjoy!
“I can’t wait any longer” is a type of track that evokes the warmth of a hug in the morning when the light is about to engulf the darkness of the passing night. It is a nice track to listen to while sipping your morning tea and contemplating how life has been lately. The song opens with quiet strings of bass and clear vocals from the vocalist with his voice that is passionate yet carries hidden pain. The song starts with a slow chord progression from strums of acoustic instruments; it gives off that kind of understanding about a person’s situation while having the type of yearning for some things to happen. It is warm and contemplating—a truly beautiful performance from the band. As the piece progresses, the music grows—the violin, the bass, the beats, the vocals—everything just works perfectly on this track.
It is also worth noting how great this song is written, as its lyrics are very promising. It is passionate, it is warm, and it perfectly encapsulates the feeling of yearning yet having a full understanding. It is warm yet bittersweet; it is understanding yet resigned. It is where I say that each word on the song perfectly aligns with the instrumentation of the track – a perfect lyric for a great melody!
Verdict? It certainly became one of my favorites! Amongst all the releases that the team has discovered this year, “I Can’t Wait Anymore” by The Celtic Social Club surely ranks high on the list! It is a light listen, it is passionate, it is well-written, and most of all, it does sound high quality! It is so easy to love this song as it carries emotions as if it is woven into each of its notes. This track deserves your full attention.
