As the story goes, this track was written by their band member, Bry. This track was written as a way to cope with his recent heartbreak because of his crush. Glasses are absolutely packed! One listen, and you will already feel the sincerity of the artist towards their feelings. Not only does it sound great because of its crunchy guitar riffs, pounding drums, and clear and crisp vocals, but this track has successfully captured the mixed feelings of angst and longing for someone.
This song is about getting stuck and being in doubt—this about rekindled feelings and the confusion that goes along with it. The lyrics are well thought out! The band has smartly used metaphors like “deep in molasses” to eventually capture the idea of getting stuck in spirals of reawakened feelings and memories.
