Talking about female indie artists with a soothing voice that echoes around your four-wall room. Lizzy McAlpine, a 24-year-old singer-songwriter, captured my indie girl heart as I scrolled through a different playlist on Spotify. Her striking relatable lyrics strike the four parts of my heart, and her creativity as well as passion for writing lyrics shine in all of the songs featured in this EP. From feeling the butterflies flying in your stomach to feeling like their wings inside of it are slowly taking away from them. It was a roller coaster ride, or like riding in an Orange Show Speedway. Her live extended play: When the World Stopped Moving was released on April 21, 2021. It consists of eight songs with a total length of 29 minutes and 3 seconds.

- In agreement: This song is about the feeling of not being used to a new healthy relationship you’re in because of the past traumas you have experienced, but now that you have found the right person, that is something you should hold on to.

- Let light be light – It’s about finding and feeling comfort in one specific person while at the same time feeling confused about how you feel and haunted by your past traumas. You are not used to it, but you want them around because they are good for your heart and mind.
