Pruebo is an alternative pop-rock band from the province of Camarines Norte in the Bicol Region. They take pride in their work and their abundance of flair, with how they seamlessly blend genres and create a unique mark on the local scene that transcends boundaries.
Formed in 2012 and still gracing platforms, stages, and recording studios up to this day, Pruebo consists of Jeroy Padilla (Vocals/Guitar), Jai Velasco (Lead Guitar), Ninia de Jesus (Guitar), Andi Madera (Bass), and Mark Revierta (Drums).
On February 9 of this year, the band released a new single ‘Comflirt’ just in time for Valentine’s day. Composed by Jeroy Padilla and produced by Chrisanthony Vinzons, the song was also supported with a music video soon after. Pruebo was personally asked what the song was about, and this was what they had to say:
‘Comflirt’ merges comfort and flirtation, emphasizing the delicate balance in relationships. It implies navigating playfulness within secure boundaries but also warns of potential infidelity risks. Successful ‘comflirting’ demands open communication and mutual respect to prevent misunderstandings and third-party involvement, ensuring a healthy relationship dynamic.
With melodies and lyrics that instantly pull listeners in, ‘Comflirt’ is the perfect song if you’re in the mood for love, no matter the situation—it is easily interpretable; it is your feelings, after all. But, it does speak about yearning and convincing a person that they can treat them better. Merging the word ‘flirt’ with ‘comfort’ signifies genuine love for a person; it is not just meaningless flirting or platonic comforting.

“We intend to create and release more music, as well as perform more shows inside and outside of Camarines Norte this 2024.” The band states.
